Survivor Pool Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Survivor Pool ("the app") is a fantasy football pick'em game for playing
with friends. This policy explains what information the app collects, why,
and how it's handled.
Information we collect
- Account information: first name, last name, username, and email address, provided when you sign up or supplied by Google/Apple when you use "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple."
- Password: if you sign up with email/password, your password is hashed (bcrypt) before storage - we never store or have access to your plain-text password.
- Gameplay data: the pools you join, the picks you make, and your results within those pools.
- Push notification token: a device token used to deliver pick-deadline reminders and result notifications, if you enable them.
How we use this information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To operate the core gameplay: tracking your picks, pool membership, and standings.
- To send you push notifications you've opted into (deadline reminders, results).
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not share your data with third parties except the minimum necessary to operate the app (e.g. Google/Apple for sign-in, Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications).
Data retention and deletion
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can
request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by
contacting us at the email below.
Children's privacy
Survivor Pool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not
knowingly collect information from children under 13.
